DESCRIPTION:This will be the third annual “Crawdads at the Creek Event” held by Wildcat Glades. This event will feature a creekside crawdad dinner under a lit event tent. We will have live music\, a dessert auction\, yard games and fellowship with nature while you enjoy a delicious meal! Tickets are $50 a person. SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Hike
DESCRIPTION:For ages 13 & up \nWhat better way to welcome summer than to spend your evening out on the trails? June 20th is the longest day of the year\, and Wildcat Glades Nature Group volunteers are planning to take advantage of the extra sunlight. Join us to hike the entire 4-mile trail through Wildcat Park! This hike will be for those that can handle long hikes and periods of steep/rough terrain. Bring your hiking poles (if you want to!)\, hiking shoes\, water and maybe even a small snack. Participants will learn a bit about what our Nature Group does and will also learn some tree identification along the way. This program will be limited to a certain number of participants\, and you must pre-register.
