Yoga in Nature For Kids – Free Class
(Sponsored by Yoga By Amanda)
Led by Amanda, a Registered Yoga Teacher, this class is designed to incorporate elements of fun, breathing and yoga poses specifically for kids. Bring your yoga mat or a towel, and a reusable water bottle. Please sign up so we can be prepared for you and your little!
Ages 4 and up accompanied by an adult

Guided Hikes
Why hit the trails by yourself when you can plod along in style with a guided hike?
Wildcat Glades Nature Group offers a variety of guided hikes to make your walk through our park more rewarding and even educational. We cover a variety of topics, from birds to trees, wildflowers to caves, and even basic foraging!

Preschool Connections – Free Class
(Sponsored by Calvin Cassady)
Ages 3 to 6 accompanied by an adult
Led by Ms. Vicki, a retired elementary school teacher and assisted by other talented Wildcat Glades volunteers, this class is designed to teach nature-based lessons. Kids will experience hands on activities, a story, and a craft. Preschool Connections is offered twice a month, once on a weekday and once during a weekend.
Participants must have a guardian or parent present during the class.

Nature Explorers – Free Class
Ages 7 to 14
Naturalist Maddie Jackson leads this informative and interactive class covering a wide variety of topics from snakes to birds and everything in-between. Kids will experience hands on activities and discover nature facts. This class is offered once a month. Participants are encouraged to explore the outdoors.
Located at the Wildcat Glades Education Cottage.
Adult Programs
Ages 13 and up
Wildcat Glades Nature Group offers a wide range of adult programs throughout the year. Some programs include basic foraging skills, nature journaling, native plant and invasive plant identification, natural crafts, and many more. Our programs change with the seasons- watch our calendar for upcoming adult programs!
