Not only is Wildcat Glades home to our area’s biggest classroom, it’s also Joplin’s most scenic boardroom, birthday space and gathering spot!
Cottage Rentals
Hold your next business meeting, class or family reunion in our charming Education Cottage. It’s an 864 square-foot building complete with fridge, microwave, table, chairs, two covered porches and even Wi-Fi! Restrooms are just a few steps away.
Reservations must be made two weeks before your event. Refunds are available if cancelled one week prior to the event. 50% of the rental fee is due at reservation with the remainder due no later than day of.
Sorry, no alcohol allowed.

Birthday Parties
Surprise! Your next birthday bash comes with an engaging education session focusing on your pick of snakes, turtles or other reptiles and amphibians.
Wish you could customize the theme based on flowers, water or another topic? Just tell us! It’s your day, after all. Birthday packages include use of our pavilion set on the stunning Shoal Creek or use of our Education Cottage at Wildcat Village.
A 50% deposit is required to hold your party date with two weeks prior notice. Refunds granted if cancellation made one week prior to the party. A full refund will be given if Mother Nature doesn’t cooperate.

Big Kid Birthday Parties
Young at heart but don’t want to drive? We’ll bring our park to your church, nursing home or other venue!

Pavilion Rentals
Make this space your own and decorate to your heart’s content (but please, no nails or fasteners). We’ll provide electricity (just ask!) and have it reasonably clean upon arrival. Reservation signage for your group is included.
- $40 for four hours
Jake’s Hammock Haven
Make our park your boardroom and brainstorm outside for a truly productive session. We’ll take care of set up before your arrival. Limited to 14 hammocks, but more accommodations will be made with an additional two-day notice.
Reservations are due two weeks prior to your event, with 50% required at time of reservation and the balance due before your event starts. Refunds will be given if cancelation is made one week prior to scheduled time. In case of inclement weather, an alternate date or refund will be provided. Please allow two weeks for your refund.
- $40 for 3 hours: with 6 hammocks incl.
- Additional hammocks available $5/per
- $10 for day hammock rental

Guided Hikes
Get your steps in and learn more about all things Wildcat Glades. Guided hikes cover topics ranging from birds and native plants to local history. Guided hikes are limited to 15 participants at a time and must be scheduled a minimum one week in advance.
