Birthday Parties

$10 per child

 $125 Minimum

Birthday packages include the use of the pavilion which is set on picturesque Shoal Creek or the use of our Education Cottage at Wildcat Village.   Parties consist of engaging nature education with your choice of snakes, turtles, or other amphibians or reptiles.  If you would like a customized party based on flowers, water, or another topic, please ask!

50% deposit is required to hold your party date and/or two weeks prior to the event.  Refunds are only granted if cancellation is made one week prior to the event.  In case of inclement weather, a full refund will be given.

Birthday Party for Big Kids

We also offer parties with nature education for adults.  We are happy to take our show on the road and visit nursing homes, churches, or other venues.   Cost is $10 per participant with a minimum of a $50 party.

Pavilion Rentals

$40 for four hours
Electricity is available upon request at the pavilion.  The area will be clean within reason.  Reservation signage will be posted for your group.  You may put up decorations, but please remove them when you leave and do not damage the pavilion with nails or other fasteners.

Guided Hikes

Guided hikes are ideal for those who are not familiar with hiking or for those who would like to learn more about the Wildcat Park area.  We offer hikes focused on birds, native plants, and local history.   Hikes must be scheduled at least one week in advance.  While there is no charge for hikes, donations are greatly appreciated.

Education Cottage

$50 per hour

$35 per hour for Wildcat Members

Call for special not for profit rate.

The Education Cottage situated in the middle of Wildcat Village (301 Riviera Drive, Joplin MO) is a 864 square foot building equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, tables & chairs for use with a rental.  Restrooms are on site, but not inside the Cottage.  The Cottage has Wi-Fi available for your meeting needs.  This space will accommodate business meetings, classes, family gatherings, and parties.  The Cottage also has two large covered porches for your use.  No alcohol is allowed.

Reservations should be made two weeks in advance of the event.  50% of the fee is due at the time of the reservation.  Refunds will be made if cancellation is one week prior to the event.  The remaining balance is due prior to the beginning of the event.

Jake’s Hammock Haven & Hammocks

$40 for three hours with six hammocks included.  Additional hammocks available at $5 per hammock.

$10 for day hammock rental with $30 refundable deposit.

If you are looking for a unique place to hold your team meeting, look no further.  We will set up hammocks prior to your arrival.  If  you need more than fourteen hammocks, we will  need an additional two days notice.
